In the Magistrates' Court, 8,187 charges of deal with property suspected of being proceeds of crime were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was imprisonment (48.6% or 3975 charges).

Case data

In 6,170 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of deal with property suspected of being proceeds of crime. Among the 6,170 cases, 4,922 people were male and 1,248 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was imprisonment (33.1% or 2040 cases).
