In the Magistrates' Court, 321 charges of drive a vehicle on a highway without number plates affixed and displayed as required were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a fine (57% or 183 charges).

In 295 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of drive a vehicle on a highway without number plates affixed and displayed as required.
