In the Magistrates' Court, 1,415 charges of affray were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a community correction order (29.1% or 412 charges).

In 1,344 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of affray. Among the 1,344 cases, 1,209 people were male and 135 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a community correction order (27.3% or 367 cases).
