In the Magistrates' Court, 3,362 charges of probationary driver not displaying P plates were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a fine (74.9% or 2519 charges).

In 2,713 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of probationary driver not displaying P plates. Among the 2,713 cases, 2,251 people were male and 462 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a fine (69.7% or 1890 cases).
