In the Magistrates' Court, 167 charges of state a false address when requested by a police or protective services officer were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a fine (49.7% or 83 charges).

In 159 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of state a false address when requested by a police or protective services officer. Among the 159 cases, 118 people were male and 41 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a fine (34% or 54 cases).
