In the Magistrates' Court, 85 charges of stop within 10 metres of an intersection without traffic lights were sentenced in the three years to 30 June 2023. The most common sentence for a charge of this offence was a fine (71.8% or 61 charges).

Case data

In 77 cases sentenced in the Magistrates' Court in the three years to 30 June 2023, each case included at least one charge of stop within 10 metres of an intersection without traffic lights. Among the 77 cases, 58 people were male and 15 people were female. The most common outcome for cases was a fine (70.1% or 54 cases).
